How many barbecues have you had so far this year? The sun is shining and we’re looking forward to the summer ahead of us! Here at Grain Creative it has been an exciting and busy year so far, with lots of fantastic projects well underway. Here are a few of our latest.
Introducing the Kenwood MultiOne
One for Kenwood. Cooking and food is enough to motivate most troops and this is certainly true for the team at Grain. We can already imagine all the delicious dishes which are being made with the latest Kenwood machines.
Grain is delighted to have created the name MultiOne for Kenwood’s latest combined food processor and kitchen machine.
The award-winning Kenwood MultiOne is the solution for every food prep and recipe challenge. You can dice, slice, chop, grate, whisk, mix, beat – all in one machine. What more could you possibly need?
Watch this space because we’re working on another name for Kenwood which we will reveal soon!
Launching Kaytie Wu jewellery
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Kaytie Wu brand and website.
Kaytie Wu is a new fashion jewellery brand. Their stunning range of necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings all come in silver, gold and rose gold with Swarovski-embellished options. They have an urban, stylish feel and are now available to purchase online at tantalising prices. We can vouch for the jewellery ourselves as we’ve been ‘test wearing’ it for a couple of months now!
International Community School
You may remember the digital story book that we created for ICS. Following its success, the International Community School invited us back to work on more projects including the design of their new visual identity.
Located in the heart of Marylebone, ICS is a true London institution with a diverse and urban personality. Employing colour and strong use of typography, the new identity has been well received by the ICS team as well as students and their parents. Our partnership with ICS continues, developing all the brand applications like stationery, apparel, signage, digital presence and campaigns.
Our great friends at Lucideon got in touch towards the end of last year to work on a new naming project for their new certification scheme verifying the origin of manufacture. Through this scheme, if a manufacturer declares that its product is made in the UK (or Stoke on Trent, or Yorkshire), then you can be confident that it is indeed made where it says it is. We got straight to work and created the name V-MARQ for them. We were also asked to create the brand identity and to design and develop the V-MARQ website, complete with a members-only area and a fully searchable register of certifications.
We’re going for gold in 2015 here at Grain with one of our latest clients, Gold River. From gold plating 60-inch televisions and skydiving helmets to diamond encrusting the latest iPhone, Gold River is opening the door for the high-end client who wants something extra special. We recently created the identity for Gold River – giving the brand their very own Midas touch.
With all of this buzz and excitement we have been finding ourselves reaching for the juicer and fruit bowl more frequently because it helps us feel great. As big fans of yoga, health and well-being, it was wonderful to work with Howard Napper again after we first met in 2005 to refresh Agoy‘s identity and packaging. Howard approached us looking for a strong identity and website to harmoniously support his work as a wellbeing advocate, teacher, entrepreneur and writer. We created a clean and crisp identity for him, along with a user-friendly website that gives his clients easy access to his blog and videos. Check it out at howardnapper.com.
That’s not all! A lot has been going on in the studio recently with the arrival of our new designer Roz who brings with her a bucketload of talent and imagination. Be sure to say hi to her the next time you ring or visit. There are also some very exciting launches just about to happen which we can’t wait to share with you in our next update.
