TEDx Houses of Parliament

I’m tempted to just write just one word about the TEDx we went to on Friday: WOW. And the lasting hope, as soon as it ended, that it will be held again next year. It was an incredibly inspiring day, the kind you can only really take in once every few months. From Jack Andraka who at the age of 15 created a paper sensor which can detect lung, pancreatic and ovarian cancer in 5 minutes, to spoken word poet Suli Breaks, Monique Villa entreating us to fight for human rights even from our own desks, all speakers delivered their own inspiring angle on the theme Representation and Democracy. And we had the chance to chat with quite a few of the speakers at the Houses of Parliament reception afterwards. Here’s the super-happy Grain team: Madelyn, Juli, Nick and Christoph.
