Summer is nearly here, the perfect time to let you know what we’ve been up to here at Grain Creative.
Apart from lots of lovely projects for our clients, we’ve been creating focus for Grain itself. Looking at our clients, our design and our own interests, we find a common thread of entrepreneurial thinking. That’s how we create big ideas from small beginnings together.
Amersham & Wycombe College
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Amersham and Wycombe College website. The College has a strong offering which spans the arts to construction skills, health & social care and even special-effects make-up.
The new site which we designed and developed makes a radical departure from the usual college website. Full-screen imagery shot at the College immediately gives personality and shows the types of courses available. We integrated the College’s course and student application databases to create a seamless process both student-side and college-side, from the initial searching of a course to application and enrolment.
Qualcomm
Our friends at Qualcomm, the Intel of the mobile world, launched a new visual identity in January at CES in Las Vegas. Grain supported them by further developing the application of the identity. We created some wonderful corporate gifts and branded products which range from custom pens, notebooks and wall calendars to custom mugs, desk calendars, bags and headphones.
Tesco Pro Formula
We are proud to have created the name for a new range of Tesco hair, bath and beauty products which has just hit the shelves: Pro Formula.
Pro Formula elevates Tesco’s previous product offering into premium beauty within this important FMCG sector. Pitched to the specialist toiletries consumer, the new brand name offers a personal, indulgent, feel-better factor, whilst retaining harmony with the Tesco brand and own product ranges.
Apart from two further naming projects for Tesco we are also working on new name creation for two different groups of companies which will see the light of day after the summer.
Other work includes new identities for architects Bickerdike Allen Partners and the Next Gen Skills Academy – a UK educational and industry initiative to create talent in video games, VFX and animation. Another recent website design launch is for financial services group Anthemis and in the works are projects for Forevermark and Air Canada.
Watch this space for more exciting branding and design news from Grain. In the meantime, we wish you a lovely summer!
