Madelyn Postman,
Summer branding & design update
Categories
We’re well into the summer and enjoying the heat wave, keeping busy here at Grain. We’ve been working on some great projects recently and wanted to let you know about a few of them.
Devotion Diamonds
Continuing our partnership with this engagement jewellery brand we have worked with since it was a twinkle in the founder’s eye two years ago, we recently launched a refresh of the Devotion website, to include more calls to action on the home page, highlight events and bring the products front and centre. There is a new section called Stories, incorporating customer testimonials, the new blog and press coverage. We continue to provide brand guardianship and social media management for Devotion.
If you find yourself in New York and are thinking of popping the big question, or just looking for an amazing gift, visit the flagship store in Roosevelt Field Mall — and be sure to tell them Grain sent you!

Newland College
Set in the heart of Buckinghamshire’s beautiful countryside and 45 minutes from the centre of London, Newland College offers the International Baccalaureate programme to 12-17 year olds and is the latest addition to SKOLA’s portfolio of schools. We were invited back to work with SKOLA to create Newland College’s name, identity and website along with the school’s interior design and its own colourful set of house jumpers.
Livingstone School
Digital and creative entrepreneur and former chairman of Eidos, Ian Livingstone CBE founded the Livingstone Foundation Academies Trust with the vision to create an outstanding secondary school that equips young people with the knowledge and skills to influence the society in which they live. With Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise at its heart, the curriculum will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). Grain worked together with Ian on developing the name and visual identity for the Livingstone School, creating a three-dimensional logo which alludes to the interplay between the digital 3D environment and its manifestation in the real world.
More exciting projects include two which are still under wraps, for our clients Kenwood and Lucideon. We are thoroughly enjoying working with them again and can’t wait to tell you all about what we’ve been getting up to. Top secret for now, so watch this space!
New luxury childrenswear brand Petit Tribe has enlisted Grain’s expertise in conjunction with the fashion design by Yulan Creative (another client of ours) to design their identity, packaging, stationery and website. Blending elements from the African Fulani tribe with directional fashion, this brand is set to launch this autumn.
Also in the theme of luxury is cashmere specialist N.Peal who has asked us to advise on their brand strategy, positioning and messaging.
A new client is top London orthodontist Dr Moira Wong. In order to help grow the client base of her new practice which just opened this past April, we are creating all of her social media content on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as well as providing across-the-board digital, marketing and PR support.
Looking forward to catching up with you again soon. Have a lovely summer and don’t forget the suncream!
