Christoph Geppert said, “It was a great night meeting a lot of passionate, hard working and talented professionals in the creative industries. The awards are a fantastic opportunity for their works to be recognised and celebrated and I’m honoured to be part of the team.”

Hosted by BBC South West’s Sam Smith in Plymouth University’s cutting edge performing arts venue, The House, the Media Innovation Awards celebrated the wealth of traditional and digital media talent in the South West.

Before and after the awards, the impressive Bass Drummer entertained everybody, with an aerial view of his performance projected on screen.
