Amersham Museum is at the heart of the community, bringing local people together, facilitating creativity and connecting people through a provocative and engaging learning experience. The museum is about the stories and the people of the area. Illustrated through the changes in architecture, the way people lived their daily lives and the evolution of simple everyday objects like cooking utensils or toys, it creates an exciting story line from medieval market town to modern Metro-land.
In 2017 the museum launched their new look and building development set in the walls of the oldest house in the town, a Victorian house and a modern glass extension. To support this exciting launch and to elevate local engagement with the museum, Grain developed the brand strategy, name, visual identity and created the website.
