Recent branding & design work

We’re nearly two months into a great year here at Grain Creative. Lots of exciting projects are underway, mostly top secret for now, but as soon as we can let the cats out of their bags you’ll be the first to know.

Complementing London’s future skyline: New Bondway

New Bondway is a highrise development proposal from Citygrove and McLaren Property together with KPF Architects. On completion in 2018 it will rise 169m from the New Southbank area in Nine Elms. We named the development, created an elegant identity and launched the responsive website.

New year, new name. Introducing Lucideon.

Since February 1st, Ceram, CICS and M+P Labs have become Lucideon. Providing materials development, testing and assurance, Lucideon has a strong presence in the UK, USA and Europe and like many companies is working more and more with the Far East. We worked closely with the team at Ceram throughout 2013 to create the new name, tagline, visual identity and international brand guidelines for the group. We’re very excited to now shout about it from the rooftops!

Something you

Following a successful collaboration with Grain on the brand strategy, identity, website, printed materials and store branding for the launch of Devotion, our jewellery friends in Vermont and Long Island invited us back to work on inspiring lifestyle ads for a number of magazines and banners. The partnership continues, so look out for more announcements on the jewellery front.

In other news: after Grain’s redesign and launch of the Amersham & Wycombe College website, the school asked us to design their Further Education and Higher Education prospectuses. Using our knowledge of the education sector, we created unique and on-brand books to show off the wonderful courses that the college has to offer.

We love working in the education sector and have recently jumped at the chance work with Skola again after the launch of the ICS Storybook. Skola are opening a new college within their group called Newland College. We helped with the naming and created the identity and the website.

At the end of 2013, we talked about New Year’s resolutions: ours was to enjoy more Nature, inspired by Project Wild Thing. Well, we didn’t just talk about Nature — we branded it, animated it and sent it viral. We’ve had over 2000 views of the video on YouTube already. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out!

Wishing you health, enjoyment and every success in your ventures. We’ll write again in the spring, once the sun finds us again.
