Being the new girl…

After only two weeks at Grain as the new Project & Studio Manager, I already feel like one of the team. It has been refreshing to work within such a close knit group of talented people in this creative hub. I’ve been surprised at how a company with only a few employees manage to maintain a large workload and deliver to such a high standard. Their processes are very effective and ways of working are precise, which I believe is a massive contribution to how they manage to stay on top. There’s a great atmosphere in the office – it’s fast paced and always buzzing. There’s no smoke and mirrors: they are client focused and care about their reputation and standard of work. You can feel genuine excitement when a website goes live or they’ve made a client particularly happy. I’m excited to get more involved and keep learning. Plus I have discovered there is a very conveniently situated cafe just down the road with amazing food…I know where I’ll be spending my lunch breaks!
