Everyone knows the name Hugh Hefner, and Playboy. The day after “The Hef” passed away, Grain director Madelyn Postman was invited to appear on BBC’s Talking Business to discuss the Playboy brand with Aaron Heslehurst. We’ve written a Thought about Playboy and how to build a brand that can outlive its founder, and the role of licensing. You can read all about it and watch the interview on the Grain website.
Following the introduction of Propertymark earlier this year, our client has now launched their first consumer-facing advertising campaign. The advert explains to consumers — residential buyers, vendors, tenants and landlords — why ‘Propertymark Protected’ matters. In turn, property professionals, inspired by the new advert, are using social media to connect with their own customers to talk about Propertymark Protection and what it means to them.
Amersham Museum is about the stories and the people of the area. With the need to engage with a broader audience, and having received lottery funding, the museum embarked on an extensive redevelopment. Our role was to create the new visual identity and messaging. The museum itself was enlarged and refurbished, with exhibits completely reimagined. Amersham Museum recently opened its shiny new glass door to a hearty welcome from the local community.
We are delighted to share the news with you that our personalised toiletries gifts client Button & Wilde has been shortlisted for the Pure Beauty Awards in no fewer than three categories. With strategy, name, visual identity and packaging by Grain, the brand has been nominated for Best New British Brand, Best New Design and Packaging, and Retail Innovation. The winners will be announced on 26th October. Good luck Button & Wilde!
