Strategy, name & identity for education sector

London South East Colleges

London South East Colleges is the new group brand name for Bromley College of Further and Higher Education, Greenwich Community College and Bexley College.

The group offers a wide range of education options including primary and secondary school education, further and higher education as well as apprenticeships and adult community learning to the population of South East London. With four locations united in one organisation – Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and Orpington – the strength of a large college offers London South East Colleges students the very best chance of career success. With an innovative education offer, London South East Colleges empowers its students to find the employment they aspire to.

Seeking to bring the new group together, Grain was invited to develop the brand strategy, name and visual identity to reflect the college’s dynamic offering. We created a more accessible, student-facing brand with an impactful identity which reflects their core values.

The visual tone is bright and stylish, with a clear and confident voice that translates seamlessly through the brand applications for each college. The forward arrows communicate the college group’s “fast-forward” thinking approach and strength in enabling their students to achieve their career goals.
