An elegant identity and e-commerce site for a jewellery brand
Kaytie Wu produces stylish and affordable designer jewellery. When it came to launching her own jewellery brand, Kaytie appointed Grain Creative to design the visual identity and website. It’s been a rewarding project for the team at Grain, drawing on our experience with jewellery brands and our e-commerce expertise to establish a young, entrepreneurial brand in a competitive market.
The visual identity draws inspiration from jewellery making: the letters ‘K’ and ‘W’ are set within a ring motif, connected as though delicately soldered. Elegant and unpretentious, the logo is supported by clean, modern typography and a simple colour palette of black, white and silvery grey. We developed the website with WooCommerce, a free e-commerce toolkit created for WordPress. Simple, flexible and user-friendly, it communicates the spirit of the Kaytie Wu brand while providing quick and easy access to her online shop, information on stockists and a contact form for prospective wholesalers.
