A luxury brand for aspirational individuals
From gold plating 60-inch Samsung televisions to diamond encrusted iPhones, Gold River create beautifully handcrafted luxury products for high-end clients. Their attention to detail sets them apart from their competitors, who are relatively weak in terms of image. Deciding to capitalise on this opportunity and communicate their market-leading status, Gold River invited Grain to design their new visual identity.
We began by defining their brand strategy: profiling target customers, retailers and partners; identifying the differences between Gold River and its competitors; improving their brand messaging; defining the luxury landscape they operate in; and articulating their brand proposition.
We then created a visual identity that elevates Gold River head and shoulders above its competition. Supported by refined, modern typography, our ‘fingerprint’ logo reflects the bespoke products created by Gold River – they’re precious and, like a fingerprint, quite unlike anything else in the world. The logo also expresses the notion that when customers commission a bespoke product from Gold River, they create a unique imprint of their own identity.
